The search for Gülistan Doku, a university student whose whereabouts have remained unknown for 324 days, has been stopped for the third time reported Jinnews Agency.

Gülistan Doku, a student of Munzur University in Turkey’s eastern province of Tunceli (Dersim), went missing on 5 January this year. According to Jin News, the search in Uzunçayır Dam Lake began on 15 October for the third time, after previous efforts were stopped. Having found no trace of the young woman, the search has once again come to an end after 47 days.

The first search began on 7 January, based on claims that Doku might have attempted suicide, but the search ended on 6 July. The Doku family encouraged another search on 7 August, but the Governor’s Office announced the end of this attempt on 18 August.
