Thirty three political prisoners in Diyarbakır ‘D-Type’ prison in Turkey were transferred to ‘F-Type High Security Closed’ prisons.
Democratic Regions Party (DBP) co-chair Mehmet Aslan and Peoples Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır deputy Musa Farisoğulları were in the group that was transferred.
It has been reported that the prisoners were physically tortured during the transfer and on arrival at the ‘F-Type’ prisons.
Prisoners in Kırşehir have also been on hunger strike in protest at the physical torture that they are being subjected to.
