Mehmet Öcalan calls for an end to the 21 years of prison isolation conditions of his brother, Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Mehmet Öcalan said, “After 2015, the conditions of isolation have become more severe. If a solution is to be found for the Kurdish issue and the Middle East, the main actor is Öcalan.”

Mehmet Öcalan evaluated the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan, his views on a solution, and the developments in Southern Kurdistan.

He also brought up Abdullah Öcalan’s statements about the unity of Kurds in the meetings.

”First of all, there is a need for Kurdish unity. The idea that this part or issue is mine or yours is not true and not acceptable. The life of the Kurds is completely interconnected. The fate of Kurds in the South, East, West, and North is connected. If you cannot develop this unity, you cannot progress, you cannot do anything.”

“If you do not unite, one of you will be breakfast, one will be lunch, others will be dinner. All will disappear.”

The most important issue in the Middle East is the Kurdish issue.

“As long as the Kurdish issue goes unresolved in Turkey, it cannot be resolved in Iran, Iraq, or Syria. The Kurdish issue is the most sensitive issue.” he reminded.
