Events were organised in North and East Syria (Rojava) to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which takes place on 25 November.

Marches, seminars and concerts were held in Qamishli, Amuda and Aleppo.

In seminars, the causes of violence against women were examined, and the role of women as pioneers of revolution was demonstrated.
