The first Ordinary Congress of the Anatolian Association for Aid and Solidarity with Families who lost their Relatives (ANYAKAY-DER) was held. Halit Batan and Sultani Yağmekan were elected as co-chairs at the congress. Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-Chair, Leyla Güven, said: “Our work will not stop until Öcalan is free, the prisons are emptied and a free homeland is established”.
DTK Co-Chair Leyla Güven, DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır, HDK Co-Spokesperson Sedat Şenoğlu, HDP Deputies Pero Dündar, Necdet İpekyüz and Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit all attended the congress.
