Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) Executive Committee member Murat Karayılan issued a statement regarding the tensions in Iraqi Kurdistan with the Turkish state and the National Intelligence Organisation (MIT). Karayılan evaluated the efforts of the the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) and the Parliamentary Union of Kurdistan.
